Scientist in the Field of Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Coating

on a part-time or full-time basis. There is also the possibility of conducting a PhD thesis in cooperation with an Austrian university.

Your responsibilities will focus on the following areas:
* Materials research, materials evaluation and method development with the aim of developing and producing functional layers and surfaces for the application fields of electronics and optoelectronics, optics, sensor technology, medical technology, life sciences, solar technology, lighting technology, mechanical and apparatus engineering, toolmaking, decorative coating.
* Participation in and management of research projects with a focus on applied research
* Conducting coating assignments and characterisation of coatings for customers
* Documentation of project results, reporting
* Presentations and scientific publications

Your qualifications
* Relevant university degree (materials science, physics, chemistry)
* Basic knowledge of plasma physics and chemistry
* High interest in scientific work and methodological developments
* Excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of German
* Independent and reliable way of working
* Strong analytical skills
